WIP Friday?!?! More SPOOKY SWIFTY COLLECTION.

I might have some more free patterns from Pillars of Eternity next week, so keep an eye out if that's your thing.

This week, I've just got another Spooky Swifty item, which isn't finished. I thought this one wouldn't take as long as the Conjuring one I made last week, but...well...I decided to do a cypress tree with Spanish moss (it turns out that I really like embroidering trees), and I decided to do the Spanish moss in the most incredibly tedious way possible AKA Palestrina stitch (which I don't think I was doing right for some lol).

Anyway, I really like it and I'll be finishing it up today, so it will be available in the shop tomorrow hopefully.

Now here's some more and also tree trunk and you can see which lyrics we have happening on this one. I don't even really like this song, but well...again...here we are.
Even more moss and about 6 hours or so in.
The almost completed tree. Who doesn't love a good creepy cypress, amirite?
Now the lettering and my French knots are so inconsistent but it's part of my charm and it's fine because I do this crooked typewriter font lettering all the time, so it doesn't matter. It's my aesthetic.
Peace out, nerds. I need to get back to embroidering because this shit takes forever.

UPDATE 2/8/23: Formatting got weird when I change my blog theme and I have now fixed it!     UPDATED: 10/3/22, for clarity!   You can now get a printable PDF version of this as a PAY WHAT YOU WANT pattern on my Ko-Fi here .     The finished Fox is about 23" from nose to tail. My gauge was approx. 4 sts/inch and 4 rows/inch and I chose to stuff the body and tail rather loosely, legs a bit more firm, but it's up to you. I like a floppy Fox. In The Little Prince (the Netflix movie version), Plushy Fox has orange ears with white inside and the black just around the edge. I chose to make my original Foxes (pictured to the right) with just black ears for silly aesthetic reasons, but you can easily sub in your orange for the backs of your Fox's ears.
