I spent this whole week making a murloc so that I could make a companion video for my baby murloc pattern. So I've got no free pattern this week. Womp womp. Get the $$$ pattern from Ravelry !  Or Ko-Fi ! Or if for some reason you want to support the evil corporate overlords at Etsy, you can pay EXTRA to line those shareholder pockets instead of mine...on Etsy ! Giggidy! The video can be viewed for free. The pattern is not free. The pattern is money. It is not a full video pattern because I want you to buy the pattern, obviously. Milk and cows and whatever. The video means little unless you have the pattern, but here it is anyway because I need to write words for the internet search robots so that people find this blog and then find the posts that are actually cool things. There are a lot of cool things here. I tediously did the captions for this video myself. Videos take so long. Even if they aren't very good like mine. It's part of my charm though. It's my aesthetic....

  Sorry, this isn't free. It took me like 50 hours and a ton of trial and error to get the head to work right in the helmet. You can snag it from Ko-Fi or Ravelry .   I got a commission for one of these fellas so I took the opportunity to update the pattern. I fixed some typos and general readability and I added a bunch of additional step-by-step images AND I made a bunch of companion videos to help with assembly including one about ARTICULATION! UPDATE 2/12/23: I only made one of these fellas, but I'm sure the pattern holds up fine. I added a note about working BLO because I always forget to mention it. Most crocheters can recognize it, but noobs might be confused about the different texture!   This cute and menacing Skeletor cat fella is about 14" from ears to the curve in the tail. It's easy but a lot of parts. I think he'd be even cuter scaled down a bit and maybe add some little feets. This was made for a commission based on a random Instagram post of a Skeletor cat that was not crochet. I couldn't find hide nor hair about the original online, so if anyone knows the origin, let me know so I can provide links, etc.   I worked in back loops only.
