Introducing: PATTERN BUNDLES

Image
In a valiant attempt to compete with the insane amount of AI/stolen pattern bundles on Etsy, I am rolling out some pattern bundles myself. Of actual patterns. That I made. Myself. Without AI. It isn't 250 patterns or anything like that because I am one human being and I haven't made that many patterns in my life, WHICH SHOULD BE A CLUE THAT SOMETHING IS UP WHEN YOU SEE THESE PATTERN BUNDLES OF INSANE AMOUNTS OF PATTERNS, PEOPLE. OH MY GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU THAT ARE FALLING FOR THESE UNETHICAL LAZY SCAMS. Anyway.  I have two bundles available so far and more on the way. On Etsy. Etsy has become the go-to for patterns AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. IT IS AWFUL. This whole thing is sort of experimental. I'm trying to figure out how to start making money with my patterns again, so I don't have to get a job working for some slimy, greedy ass or another. If this ends up working out then I'll be pulling the individual versions of these patterns from their other locati...

THE CAT IS A HAT *NEW* Crochet Pattern Available NOW!

Image
Well, I figured out why my pattern sales (and shop visits in general) have been way down over the last several months. I'm talking 85% lower than last year, which is an absolutely insane number. Etsy is no longer my main source of income, which it has been for years. I was perplexed. I was downright baffled. I couldn't figure out if it was my prices or changes to Etsy's search or what. It was/is all of the above, but not for any obvious reasons. First of all, I personally do not buy patterns from Etsy unless they are NOT available from other places. I have no interest in lining the pockets of shareholders and I would rather more of my money go to the actual fucking artists. That being said, I did some searches for my patterns. They came up in the search results nicely. So I was sure it was my prices. My patterns are extremely detailed, even my older ones, and they are priced accordingly for the effort I put into them.  You can still find my patterns if you do a really...

Blue Badger Pattern

Image
This pattern took way longer than I anticipated. I am the absolute worst judge of time. Worst. I thought I would wrap it up on Friday then have the weekend, but I ended up working on it all weekend and then also Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Here I am posting about it after midnight on Thursday! I spent a heckin long time working on the companion videos for YouTube. Making videos is so incredibly time-consuming. It slows down my work and then I have to edit, etc. etc. etc. Here's my YouTube channel where you can find said videos if you want to listen to me talk for hours. I added chapter markers to these videos so you can follow along with the different sections of the written pattern.  You can buy the pattern from Ravelry or Ko-Fi . Of course you can also buy it from Etsy if you want to pay more money for it and don't want me to get that extra money.  There are also two (2) ready-to-ship, finished, physical Blue Badger plushies on Etsy. There is a cuddly version ...

FIRST Pattern Roundup of 2024!

Image
Back in November , I started this, uh, unique theme, which I continued into December , and I am continuing now. Also, I hope you enjoy this extra eye-jarring banner I made. I think my banners are getting uglier and uglier. It's part of my brand. If you're new here, the theme is...I AM GOING THROUGH MY BOOKMARKS and deleting dead links and sharing the undead links with everyone else! Undead? Live, I mean. The LIVE links. It's a mix of knit and crochet since I do both and for years and years I've just been saving things in a folder called PATTERNS. Last month there were no knitting patterns that cropped up. lol All of the included images belong to the linked pages unless I have miraculously made the thing then I include a photo of mine, and I'll tell you so. Happy 2024, now let's get started with this month's roundup! Yee haw! Crochet Fox Patterns FREE and Paid Rounded up by Moogly    Well, it looks like the first entry of this roundup is another roundup, so ...
