  I got a commission for one of these fellas so I took the opportunity to update the pattern. I fixed some typos and general readability and I added a bunch of additional step-by-step images AND I made a bunch of companion videos to help with assembly including one about ARTICULATION! I am going to try my gosh dang hardest to consistently do some sort of pattern roundup every month. It's going to be a mid-month thing, I decided. It will be somewhere between the 14th and16th to give me a little flex in case I have a lot going on. This month I'm hitting you all with...oh, no...not...GRANNY SQUARES?!?! I know, I know. There are already numerous collections of granny square patterns all over the internet. Lists and lists. So many. Endless. Grannies for days, months, eternity! I'm bummed there's not alliteration because y'all know I love alliteration. Anywho, I'm doing my own little granny collection here now. These are some of my favorite NOT BORING grannies and they are all FREE! But listen, most of them also have an ad-free paid version if you want to throw a couple dollars toward the creator, which I strongly encourage.   I spruced up my old dinosaur hat pattern! I do believe it's my last knitting pattern that I needed to update to version2.0! It's two patterns in one! Two dinosaurs! A long-neck Brontosaurus dino and a T-Rex! The T-Rex is super cute, especially in pink, if you ask me. Anyway, the pattern is now more clear and I made some changes to resize it so the finished hats have a better fit. You can get it from Ko-Fi or Ravelry RIGHT NOW! There are also a few physical hats available on Etsy ...while supplies last! I'm not planning on stocking them unless there's interest, so what's there is what's there! The hat below is available and it's a variation of the one in the pattern! Easy variation! Just two rows of dinos! It makes a bit slouchier of a hat. Happy crafting! I'll be moving on to reworking my crochet patterns next! I'll be adding more step-by-step photos and also making some companion videos to go along with them!

A special treat! I needed a little knitting break, so I made a Nyan Cat grid! I think it would make a nice c2c crochet pillow cover (I've sort of been itching to make weird pillows but I don't want to turn into my grandmother and have 96 decorative pillows swallowing all of my furniture).  Anyway, SURELY someone needs this! I didn't add diagonal lines for c2c because I don't want people to think it's c2c ONLY. For real, do what you want with it. Be free. Get creative. You can download it and edit it, if you want. I DON'T KNOW WHO NEEDS THIS BUT I BET SOMEONE OUT THERE DOES. You're welcome. I have not tested this, but I'm confident in my c2c charts. I imagine it as a nice, weird pillow (and I might actually make a pillow at some point - I'm a smidge bogged down by my own arbitrary schedule at the moment). 30x30 is also a good size if you want to sc, like, a square hat? Put some pom poms on the top corners. I AM GIVING YOU FREE IDEAS.  It'll work for duplicate stitch knitting too, no doubt.  Get creative, cowards. A second pattern update this week! Look at me go! The Hot Beverage Beanie is an old oooooold olde pattern from back when I first started knitting, so it was LONG overdue for an update, unlike the possum hat . 

  Alrighty! I'm working on updating MULTIPLE patterns this month and this one is ready to go! This is one of my original designs and it is isn't actually that old of a pattern, but I made some tweaks to it based on customer feedback. I also made the pattern itself more readable and added some additional images to the end. Nothing too crazy, but regardless, you can now buy the UPDATED version!
