December Pattern Roundup
It's that weird time of the month again. No, no, not THAT time of the month - I mean pattern roundup time, of course. Geez. If you were around last month for Part 1 of this, uh, series...then you know that I'm going through my bookmarks and deleting dead links and other weird stuff, and sharing all of the other patterns with you all. This is at least ten years of pattern accumulation. Some of the links are dead and there are other patterns that now require strange logins or the sites were covered with pop-ups. It's 2023, almost 2024, and pop-ups are so 2003. Ads should be annoyingly dispersed around the page itself in this day and age. I also don't believe in having to login to something for a free pattern. I'm cool with making accounts to buy things, but I ain't making one to access a free thing. You know?
All images here were pulled from the pages with the pattern unless it's something I made myself and I say so, but I've provided adequate credit, I should hope. More credit than an awful lot of people in this dystopian hellscape we live in. I'm not out here being like certain pages on Facebook, that I won't mention here because I don't want to get them more engagement than they already have, that just post other peoples' work without any sort of acknowledgment of the original creator at all.
Enough rambling, let's get to some patterns.
Schoharie Spring 12" Square
FREE Crochet Pattern from Cats & Crochet Don't Mix
I'm forever doomed to have grand aspirations toward making some really cool granny square blanket with unique and fun squares. Will I ever do it? I don't know. I'm getting old. This is a really cool square that I think would be fun with a variegated yarn. Maybe good for all those variegated yarns we all impulsively buy and then don't know what to do with. This is also a big square. The blog this is from hasn't been updated since 2008, but there are a couple other patterns worth perusing there too. A couple different squares, but this is my favorite out of all of them. I poked around for a bit.

C2C Fox Square
FREE Crochet Pattern by The Crochet Crowd
This was the first c2c I made! There's also a raccoon and I think some other forest critters. This page includes a tutorial about how to do c2c if you're not familiar. I, in fact, learned this technique right there on the page. Super easy! Very fun! 10/10 recommend.
